About

The friendship shore is a blog co-written by three best friends who are making their ways, however timidly, into the world. We write a little bit of everything — reflecting on the past, looking forward to the future, asking inanimate objects how they feel about their treatment in the world. Sometimes we’re serious, more often we’re silly.

As we move away from each other and into lives all our own, we wanted the opportunity to share our experiences and thoughts with one another.  A hallmark of our friendship has always been random, but thoughtful conversation.  Realizing that there may be other people in the world interested in the glory of Will Ferrell, the difficulty of finding a job and the joy of a well-cooked meal, we wanted to share some of these conversations with the world. Whether we’re delving into the childish, or the adultish, we welcome your input.

Look for updates on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, with the occasional Thursday edition of “Why do I love terrible things.” Mondays are posts from Minnie, Tuesdays from Megan, and Wednesdays from Heidi. We will also feature guest posts on Fridays from time to time! We all collaborate on content and the direction of the blog.  Questions? Follow us on twitter @friendshipshore!

“The Friendship Shore,” of course, refers to that renowned quote from Cal Naughton Jr to his best friend, Ricky Bobby.  “It’s time to cross over the anger bridge and come to the friendship shore.”
